It's the last week of hols so fun and games continue with little planning or structure. We have visitors from many countries who bring very welcome donations of food, goods, money or their skills. A face-painting lady is popular, as is the bearer of a birthday cake.
I continue with making a quilt, with the help of a couple of junior embroiderers, take a swimming lesson, supervise donut making with the big girls and attempt to sort the library.
4 new kids start this term, replacing some oldies who have graduated and have work lined up from august. 2 are balinese teenage boys and 2 primary age girls are from sumba. Don't know how they are chosen to come here, but it only takes a few days for them to settle in.
