having high tensile steel around your neck when someone is trying to rip it off you seems like not a great idea.
It's almost like a challenge to "snatch it if you can", but what about the physical downsides??
Best not to present the opportunity in the first place.
There are much safer ways of carrying things than in a shoulder bag.
