Bare with me this may take a while, my daughter is arriving from Perth on the 8:30AM air asia also. On the same day she is getting a Air Asia direct to Phuket with my wife who will already be in Bali.There flight is not till around 12:30 PM. We had booked the daughters ticket for Bali one day then the next booked both hers and the wifes from Bali to Phuket.This all happened about 2 months ago.
A couple of weesk ago l took my brother in law and his wife to Perth Airport and while there l checked with the Air Asia desk if my daughters luggage would be sent straight to Phuket via Bali or would she have to collect it. They told me the two flights had to be on same booking number.So now the daughter has to arrive get a 30 day visa go through immigration collect bags then through customs walk out the front then go to departures to get flight to Phuket. Also then has to pay departure tax. She is not happy as it is very hard to book Perth to Phuket via Bali as they send you through KL if you put down Perth Phuket.Hope all that made sense. So unless you have booked your flight together you would have no hope on making it in time and even if you have ,l dont think you would make it anyway.
