hi Tunaman.. the night markets in sanur are great.

they are in the carpark at the front of Pasar Tradisional Sanur (as Angla said the local market on Jl Danau Tamlingan). The fruit, veg, meat etc is sold in the morning inside and then at night there are stalls in the carpark outside - food, drink, market shops etc

It is targeted towards the locals but to me that just makes it more appealing. Lots of good food and just to name a few - satay, nasi campur, lamb curry, fresh fruit juices, murtabak and I cant think of the name but at the murtabak stall they also sell a dessert. The best combo is banana and cheese. Sounds weird but it is amazing.
very cheap for example 10 satay sticks for Rp10,000. you an eat at one of the tables or get it takaway wrapped in brown paper.

had a quick look at the stalls but I wasnt there to shop - dvds including indonesian movies, clothes etc. definitly worth a look, good mix of locals expats and tourists there.

also - i am wayyy behind on my JBR (must get onto it soon - as Jan "Mermaiden" keeps reminding me) but I have posted a review of Inna Grand Bali Beach on tripadvisor. I went a bit overboard and also attached 40 photos!!! I remember that you wanted a review of the hotel awhile ago. hope it helps. i still have mixed feelings about the hotel, like it mainly for sentimental reasons now, and not sure if i would stay there again but in saying that my mother and 10 friends are all staying in the garden wing next month.....
