Love this bar and have never had a problem there with drinks, you quickly learn. Nothing to worry too much about it is to be honest.
Next time, you just order "one buy one get one free bintang". Did you realise how much you pay for buy one get one free bintangs, compared to just single bintangs?
I'll take a bet that your BOGOF Small Bintangs cost 30,000rp for each pair. Normal price on the weeks when they aren't running this promo, the price for a single Bintang is 20,000rp.
I am a regular at one of the other popular brilliant bars owned by the same man, and its the same there. In fact its the same in all of his bars I have even been to.
Btw... the staff aren't on any sort of commission so this is likely just a common understanding rather than you being deliberately ripped off. Most people only make the mistake once, the only profit they get from customer sales is the tips.
