Having recently used a pacsafe neck wallet in Italy I can strongly recommend them, the only downside in Bali is if wearing a singlet potential thieves can see it.
However the neck cord has wire in it and cannot be cut.
Regardless of what you carry your cards and coin in now, everyone should consider using a RFID protected wallet or card pouch, identity theft off credit cards by scanning is becoming a problem, and there is no way of telling if someone has scanned you as they can do it by just walking passed you.
