Had 14 teeth crowned/bridged and teeth whitened, including a tooth removed and several root canals. 7 hours in a dentist chair in one day was not my idea of a fun holiday but my new smile makes in all worth in the long run. very pleased with result. $AUD350 per crown and $350 for teeth whitening. I was quoted over $AUD14k back home for much less work. I wouldnt recommend teeth whitening to anyone, though. It was very painful due to my sensitive teeth, but did a good job.
BTW all the Bluebird Taxis knew exactly where to go when I showed them the business card - "Oh, 911 dentist! Very popular with Australian tourist"
