Why don't you just buy a kettle and a plastic jug - about $8 - to heat the bottles. It would save you heaps. Just boil the water and sit the bottle in the jug of water. May take a little longer but would be less hassle in the long run.
I am here at the moment and have seen carseats advertised for about $45 to buy. Not sure on the quality though. You could check Carrefour's web site and although it's in Indonesian you can still check out the specials and get an idea. I can check out Matahari and Centro on my next walk into Kuta (probably Tue/Wed) if that helps or Carrefour in a week or two.
