Town Houses in Kuta and water

I am told by the staff at receptionist that the tape water in rooms is drinkable.

Never heard of a hotel in Bali where the water is filtered can anyone confirm as I'm not sure since it's not written anywhere in the rooms????

Thanks in advance - bottled water for me till I hear............
