Short cut now bonsai is closed ? Sanur

Regulars how do you get to the beachfront besides the main roads obviously now my usual short cut down past Piccadilly and thru the back of bonsai is fenced off according to recent posts ? Staying at The Ugly Duckling in a few weeks and love to walk along the beach path and up to the markets rather than using the main roads.
