Bartering in Indonesia is different from Europe/USA/Australia.
If you start negotiations with a street trader there are unwritten rules.
If you ask a price.....the negotiations have started, if the trader does not accept your price the negotiations are over, the only person who can cease negotiations is the trader.
Often people will walk away during negotiations......this is when the traders get angry
