....but for me cash is KING in Bali....divide your $ into daily amounts (plus a few extras for planned, special purchases). Take plastic as a back up because you may lose in fees and rates of exchange depending on which ATM you use. If you must use an ATM, withdraw the allowed limit....usually 3 million. If shopping duty free before coming home, use your plastic or rupiah...anything else will get you slaughtered. And as a final....put aside your 150k departure tax to one side so you don't get caught and forget.
