candidasa and Ubud female solo traveller

I have 6 nights by myself and was thinking of staying in Candidasa and Ubud for 3 nights each. I would like recommendations for accom in the centre of each village somewhere where I will be able to meet people and be in the hub of the villages. I am unfamiliar with these areas. Any other recommendations for other areas would be appreciated. I have 10 nights in Legian before I do it solo
