For the past few days on and off, a police stop point has been set up at the intersection where Jl. Sriwijaya runs into Jl. Patih Jelantik (Close to where Cyber Cafe was)
This is a one way section of winding road, so it is not likely to get warning from others that it is there.
Each time we have passed through we have been on pushbikes, but inevitably there is a queue of tourist contributors who for some reason insist on riding motor bikes without helmets, licences or both.
If you get caught here it serves you right, but the posting is to warn compliant riders to expect delays if you go this way and go through the checking process.
