The inevitable desire for the dollar, profit over people .. the inability to focus on what is important and the consequences of poor decisions ... westerners certainly are not innocent bystanders in all of this and need to do their best when visiting to be mindful of the environment and the people .. the answer? I am not sure of the answer, I will however continue to marvel at the ceremonies, not swim with captive dolphins, take time to understand the people and the issues that confront them, reduce as much as possible my use of 'plastic' and not set a poor example but I do not have the answers ...
