Just move their crap to the side.
I'm not a big user of pools, and when I do, I don't stay for long. I also have very fair skin, so I'm not a sun worshipper - another reason I don't stay long. I fail to see why I should sit on the ground or miss out while a lounge sits idle with someone's towel and no user in sight.
I just move their stuff to the side, use the lounge and am always gone long before anyone arrives to try and claim land rights.
