You have to take precautions against mosquitoe bites. We are staying in Seminyak in a private villa which has an open kitchen/living area (typical Balinese) and we have plenty of mosquitoes. We are always lighting coils and spraying ourselves and my kids have still been bitten. I can only hope that nothing comes of it. My 11 y.o. son has also picked up bali belly and has had diarrhea for the past 3 days. Having said all this, we still love Bali and our holiday is going WAY to quick, I just hope he's better by the time we leave here and gets to have at least one more fun day. Take care.
