Had a guided tour by the assistant manager. Work well underway and was told that the first 2 floors and pool, resturant & bars will be ready by late July. They said they are taking bookings now for Deluxe Poolview (ground floor) and Deluxe (2nd floor) Superior rooms are the old rooms. Had a look at the room on groud floor and so nice. 49 channels on TV (sat TV) mini bar, in room safe, 2 bottles water free each day, complimentry toiletries, flat screen TV and rooms very spacious. The ensuite is grand style with toilet, shower and ensuite sectioned off. I was very impressed. The cheapest I have found the room is on Qantas Hotels. The assistant manager said Flight Centre were doing the bookings but I went and saw a agent on Saturday and neither they nor their wholesaler had heard anything yet but are getting back to me. Was talking to Bule and he told us Franki had resigned (for those who know the staff) Was told the contract for the work is for another 2 years. They will be moving onto the back wing next then they will be doing the old area. They had 4 rooms to show, they also have interconnecting rooms on each floor. Hope this helps
