We are heading over mid August and have also booked Terrace room at the Santosa Villa Hotel through Agoda for $57 a night. Normally stay at Lombok Holiday Resort so hopefully this hotel is just as good. Being closer to Sengiggi is a plus. Because we will be based in Padang Bai for a few days Scuba diving beforehand we may as well board the ferry up the road and return via Lion air which i will book online, bit more at ease now with the positive comments. Have flown with Merapati and Lion air on previous occasions and never had a problem but always purchased tickets at Domestic terminal. Appears to be a heaps cheaper rate online especially with Lion air. Bring on the crystal warm waters,fish and corals, oh and did i mention the Bintang? Cheers everyone.
