It is pretty easy to book a domestic fare from Denpasar to Lombok when you get to Bali. Just turn right out the front of International arrivals keep walking till you see domestic terminal. You will see ticket sales booths at front of domestic airport. There are heaps of flights every day so normally no problem with getting a seat over and back. Last time I flew with IAT (Indonesian Air transport) they were fine, just a quick 20 minute flight with no problems at all, I think about Rp400k each way. In my opinion AVOID the FERRY. If you fly you can be at you hotel pool with a beer in 2 hours easy, the boat will take you almost all day, in my opinion a waste of your holiday time. ENJOY.
