One mistake first timers make when they go in to a bartering stall is that they ask how much for items and not necessarily wanting to buy. When you ask a price, you are bartering and expected to settle on a price whether you want it or not, so remember, if you are in a bartering stall, don't ask for a price of something unless you want to buy it and you do better by buying more than one item.
