and all's well in our world.
Yesterday Denpasar on the M/bike for a look at furniture.
One of the advantages of a longer than usual stay is the ability to get things done that take a few weeks.
We have measured up a nice corner lounge that will be made in Surabaya and brought across in about 4 weeks.
This will compliment some of the building changes that we are having done.
I find Denpasar a fascinating place and love poking about in some of the small Chinese shops just to see what is on offer.
I came across a very nice watch shop in Gajah Mada, and left a Tag watch with them for repair at 500K.
This is half the amount quoted elsewhere, but I guess time will tell (so to speak) if the replacement integrated circuit is the real thing or not.
Hong Kong restaurant has undergone huge changes and is now a very nice place to stop for a beer and snack, and a haven from the bustling main markets.
Koris last night was as good as ever.
Delicious food, great service and just $100 for four due to low alcohol intake. A cut above Uns and Poppies in my view and well worth a visit.
Push bike ride this morning north along the beach front instead of south.
A wider track and better in that respect but the barrier bars are more numerous requiring dismount and lift over.
The restaurant at the favourite place is full at 8.30am here with all sorts of family groups no doubt looking forward to another great pool day sunbathing or maybe a day out somewhere.
For us it's a "go with the flow" day, and nothing firmly planned.
I have no doubt that something will turn up that is either challenging, entertaining or just good fun.
That's Bali.
