I wouldn't allow it anyway - my cc is only for dire emergencies. I guess they just are trusting. I certainly never pay before departure at, say La Walon, Grand Kumala. Masa only wants one night. Pearl doesn't require a deposit or payment on arrival. I have paid a deposit through paypal of one night accommodation in Ubud for my 3 days there next trip but that's unusual.
LOL, I guess I mostly stay at el cheapo places so if I do a runner it's no biggie.
