Stayed there last year for a week. Was about to book a flight ($821 return) for 2 weeks in Sanur when I saw an advert in a travel agency for flights plus 1 week in Legian for $860 incl. breakfasts. Thought it worth trying.
Hotel consists of a reception block (reception, restaurant, bar) and a couple of dozen cottages. We had a standard room, one third of the block. Didn't view other rooms so can't comment, but ours was smallish but very clean with comfortable bed etc. Small sitting area outside. Staff were very good and helpful - on arrival found a lock on my suitcase was jammed and a guy was round with an angle grinder in 2 minutes to cut it off. Even refused a tip!!!
Restaurant poor, OK for breakfast. Bar lousy..Ok if you drink beer or one of the dozen or so cocktails available. My wife ordered a vodka and orange but they wouldn't serve that even though both ingredients were available in cocktails. However 50 restaurants and bars in walking distance.
Small but pleasant pool.
Overall a basic but not unpleasant experience, and at the price we paid, a bargain, but wouldn't go out of my way to return.
