and was back there having a look last week. Stayed in a deluxe room (#147 - ground floor) and I believe they all have what you stated. The girl told me the deluxe rooms are #'s 141 - 161. With small kids it would pay to try and get a ground room floor to make it easier for you. The rooms are brilliant. For a budget hotel I wasn't expecting much and the deluxe rooms are some of the best I've stayed in over there. Heaps of room. Fridge is full size and little or no mini bar from memory so heaps of room for your own stuff.
In the two weeks between Xmas and when I was back they had completely bulldozed 1/2 of the superior rooms to make way for new ones. I don't think it would have too much impact as it is fenced off (the area is near the pool but wouldn't impact on use of the pool or restaurant I don't believe). The girl I spoke with reckoned the new buildings should be finished in June but don't know how likely that is or not.
Overall, went with very low expectations and came away very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to stay again in a deluxe room (I wouldn't consider another lesser catergory tho - got a glimpse in one of them and they were dingy and small compared to deluxe).
Great location too.
