is another suggestion. I paid $60 a night and that was in a star class room which is one up from the basic. Nice big rooms (clean), good aircon, tea/coffee making facilities and breakfast included. It has a nice pool and beautiful gardens. It a short walk in one direction to the beach in Seminyak and a short walk in the other direction to restaurants/markets etc. Definitely not backpacker accom, nice and quiet, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
