they are totally different. SBV is more laid back and doesn't pretend to be an up market resort, it is simple and a lot of fun but of course is further away from the action so to speak. Of course there are shops and restaurants and lots of them down the end of Sanur that SBV is in but you do have to walk to them and the beach.
Besakih is right in the middle of the action and you pay more for the convenience of this and the location. It all comes down to what you prefer, we love both and that is why we will now stay at both if possible. If I had to choose I would hate that.
