Amed is a wonderful area, quite different from the tourist areas of Kuta etc. It is also relatively poor, so your dollars are well appreciated. Wawa Wewe 2 is a great place to stay with a good value restaurant that also caters for visitors. Made's Warung (beside Wawa Wewe 1) is very good and very friendly. The Rock has fabulous views and is nice (watch out for wind and rain) Sails has very good quality food, bu slightly expensive Bintang! I'd quite like to tell Rangatira about the service we got, but overall the world class views and good food prevailed.
