Last May my family of 4 stayed in a Kifaru 2 Bedroom room for $220 Aud. It included Park entry, free Breakfast, 1 free Bus ride through the Zoo plus a Welcome Foot Massage for each guest. We also got bonus coupons, to make other things in the park a bit cheaper.
We were treated like Royalty the whole time, they give you a card to show wherever you go to say that you are overnight guests. In the heat of the day, we went to the pool near the rooms, that is only for guests, and kept cool. This pool overlooks the Rhino enclosure, and is just amazing.
It wasn't much more expensive to stay the night, only about $20 from memory, but the extras you get far outweigh it !! You get to go into the park after the "Day trips " leave, and also get entry in the following morning before the "Day trips " arrive. If you choose to stay the night, do the night Safari, it is a MUST. We got to Hand Feed Zebras, and also fed the Lions, from the bus we were on. My 7 and 5 yr old daughters still think it was fantastic.
