I've only stayed at Shangrila and it was clean, great breaky and other meals were good too when we stayed in at night. Nice pool and good location.
Pondok Bambu looks good too. We had lunch at the restaurant there two years ago and, while we didn't look through a room, a few had doors open as we walked past and they looked nice and clean.
We had actually intended to go back there last year to stay a couple of nights, but picked up an Ebay deal for the Shangrila - 2 rooms for a week each for $99 total. We only ended up staying 3 nights, but it was still a very cheap deal. There was supposed to be a timeshare chat involved, but nobody ever mentioned it while we were there.
