We stayed nearby recently & went in for a 'look-see'... Loud music, good security, enormous pool... it looked to be a great spot for my teen boys to stay in years to come if they came with friends, but not the sort of place I would choose to stay with girlfriends.
Having said that, HR is well-located within walking distance to Kuta & Poppies Lanes, but personally, I would prefer the Breezes location in Seminyak for your girlfriends age group.
