Airfares Up or Down - Clarification

Hi Fellow Forumites.

My previous question re airfares Perth to Bali may have been unclear.

We are going in August 2011 but have not booked our air fares yet.
My questions are:-
From experiance do you think either AA or Garuda will bring out any "specials"prior to August . ??
If so, how many months in front of travel dates dot they appear ??
