We are getting married in Bali in July. We found it daunting to start as well! We found that lots of hotels/chapels etc had a package which includes the legalities etc. The legalities differ depending on what religion you declare you are - they all require different documents.
If you google wedding chapels in Bali you will see that there are lots of options:
The conrad
Tirtha
Blue Ocean
Just to name a few... there are lots.
Lots of hotels will offer a wedding in their gardens.
We emailed lots of different hotels and if they did not reply, we did not visit them when we went to bali to look at venues.
Lots of people recommend using a wedding planner, and there has been lots of good feedback about using some of them. We have chosen not to - but at times it has been frustrating doing to organising!
