and if you have the time before you leave for Bali - For the month leading up to a mile-stone birthday for my husband i went on Ebay and bought things from the year he was born and then gave him one item every day for the fortnight before his birthday. Coins, comics, beer mug, books, newspapers with what was happening in Australia the week he was born etc He loved it.
Enter 1971 in your Ebay search and heaps of things come up. Eg a 1971 TV Week with Elvis Presley on the cover, and an EP by some band called Flake haha
