But......
This is your first trip to Bali.
How many people have you spoken with to really get a feel for having ANY sort of investment in Bali?
There have been many people burnt making decisions shrouded by Bintang smiling faces and palm trees.
When you next go back to Bali, have a look at the number of businesses that are either not there or changed to something else....it's a constantly changing landscape, and there are good reasons for that.
It really is a minefield, and there are as many (or more) white guys waiting for inexperienced punters as there are Indonesians looking for the big bule buck.
On the surface of it the thought of leaning against a bar and watching the rupiah roll in is a very enticing one.
You need to either find people who do not have a vested interest in the information they are giving you, or you need to build a much stronger platform of personal experiences before leaping into anything like this.
Naturally, it's your cash and entirely up to you how you go about spending it....and some have made successful transitions into Indonesian based businesses, but very, very, very few after a couple of trips and a chat with a friend of a friend.
Hati Hati !!
