Ubud - cheap accommodations

My friend's son, who is early 20's, will be in Bali Feb. 12-27th and would like to find a homestay or something similiar around Ubud. He's from Canada but travelling right now so I said that I would see what the forum crew suggests. He's looking to spend around $25 a night. Is there such a thing in Ubud any more? He's not picky and doesn't mind staying in something pretty basic. Any suggestions that I can pass on to him?
