however, they have an air ambulance service, my husband and I agree that we would rather risk it and get the hell out of Bali in case of major operating services. Misdiagnoses and old equipment and delays with regard to who's paying seems to be the major problems, we just went through this with my husbands uncle, we ended up sending him to Bangkok, via KL for open heart surgery after many problems here in Bali, he had no insurance (Indonesian). Glad your son is okay. It's a personal choice whether to leave Bali or not, we've made our choice and discussed it with our Insurance broker who lives here and can tell us horror stories and success stories, our families know our choice and we'd rather risk it than try our luck here so we pay high insurance premiums for evacuation coverage.
