love the location, the rooms for the price are great, always clean, staff friendly, great breakfast, yummy restaurant menu.
For shopping and clubs you cannot go past the location, also my favorite warungs are in the same street, the beach is walking distance.
I think if you want a cheaper place to stay without the big resort feel and like to shop/go out/beach then this is a great choice. If you want to laze around under a palm tree in beautiful gardens and feel away from the pulse of Kuta then not the place.
If you like sport than it is an even better choice.
We live here but often put friends and family in there for a few days to get their shopping/clubbing/beach fix.
