I had just spent a fabulous 4 days in Bali Indonesia with the best tour driver you could ever want. This was my first time in Bali I didn't know what to expect when I got there. It was one of those last minute trips for some site seeing and relaxation before heading home to the US. Wayan Merta was the tour driver I selected for all my travel and site seeing arrangements while in Bali. I had read many great reviews about his service and the fact that he spoke English well. Those reviews were all right on the money. He was punctual, right there at the gate waiting for me at the airport. Took my bags and drove me in his late model Toyota van to my hotel. Before venturing out on any tours, he had made sure he knew what I was interested in and then suggested locations to see. Each day he met me at the hotel at the time specified. There are so many great places to see in Bali and with only 4 days Wayan made sure I was able to see as much as possible in that time allowed. I couldn't have asked for more. Not only were the locations he suggest absolutely beautiful, but also the quaint village eateries to experience local fare, and village silver crafters for the best price in jewelry were exceptional. I was honestly impressed with Wayan's driving. The roads in Bali are very narrow and motor scooters seem to be coming from every direction. Wayan is a very professional driver and dealt with the traffic and congestion with safety and courtesy. I would definitely recommend Wayan for any of your Bali tour or transport needs. If he was able to provide me with such a wonderful Bali experience given the very short notice I gave him, just imagine what you will have if you plan ahead. My rating is a definite four stars.
