It was a really simple un stressed way to enter Bali.
We Did a few Late flights out of Perth with Virgin and although the queues at immigration were not super bad we were arriving at our hotel after midnight.
The last time i did the late flight i used the express service and it was worth the extra $25pp because we were in our hotel within half an hour of exiting the plane.
Personally I feel this service is not officially sanctioned but that is another argument/discussion, I would say though that its a fantastic service especially for "novice" overseas travelers who are a bit worried they may get confused in a foreign airport/atmosphere.
You are met shortly after you step off the plane, all passport control/visas are taken care of for you,you are directed to luggage claim, escorted through customs and directed to your transport with a non rushed opportunity to change money at a money changer under the watchful eye of the representative (no porters come near you, same as transport touts)
Most people do not need this service but i think its also good for some who have been overwhelmed by the whole airport experience thus putting them on edge just thinking about a return trip :)
I would only use it again if i was on a late flight,on early flights you have all the time in the world.
The people who moan the most about the time it takes to enter Bali seem to overlook the time it takes to re enter Australia? especially Perth Airport at times when only one plane as landed and the queues are just as long as in Bali?
