in the Duyung room & spent many happy hours on the huge deck with its wonderful view. Non-AC but the fan was adequate. Had a look at the Fish suite, which looked comfortable and has AC. The Garden rooms could be a bit warm. Pleasant small pool and of course, the sea 50m away across the quiet track. The staff were lovely and accommodating, as you would expect at an Alam property. We went via Gili Cat from Padang Bai which was fairly bouncy on a smallish swell but quick, convenient and not unpleasant. It would perhaps be... exciting on a large swell and there have been previous posts regarding this. Having said that, I would use them again.
