WA demographic looks fine from where I am standing.
I don't think you are going to do your cause any good by attacking that part of Australia that is financially supporting the rest.
We in WA are well used to giving the rest of Austalia "a hand" (and a leg and arm and pretty much everything else)
Good luck with getting the pictures that you are looking for, but probably not much forthcoming from WA for you.....us "riff raff" are too busy making the money that makes the country tick.
