I'm not expecting much from our room. The reason I booked here is because the teenager is coming this time and I could get a Loft room to fit us all. 2 qu d/stairs and 1 qu up. No balcony! It'll be a tight fit! They're also on the 4th floor so if there's no lift we'll be getting fit!
I was of the understanding they had reno's on, in fact Qantas emailed me a few months ago about it. Apparently just finished the kiddy pool area. I emailed the manager last week and this was part of his reply:
We are officially closing Wing 2 on January 15th for major renovation at all rooms. We are consistently and gradually on the stage of upgrading all rooms types in the hotel. We just finish completing Wing 1 last December 2010,
It is great to hear that you didn't notice anything going on tho so it shouldn't affect our stay.
