It is common that outbreaks occur within individual hotels - often the same on cruise ships - but it is not generally the fault of the hotels but just normal person to person contact. It just happens to appear that the main link is the hotel when it fact it is many other things.
Even more likley to occur within a group travelling together and sharing flights and transfers etc etc.
We have just had about 50% of our office off with a gastro bug that ironically enough probably came back with two guys who work here who went to Bali for Christams !!!
