We were there about a week ago and I would not be worried about it at all. We went on a day that was overcast - so not the most spectacular views but extremely impressive all the same.
We ate at one of the restaurants and really enjoyed our meal.
We stopped at one of the coffee plantations on the way back and sampled some of their coffee and tea, included Luwak coffee which is made from the droppings of a Luwak, a small cat-like creature. The place is nestled on the side of a hill - really cool.
I would say not to worry - it is worth the trip.
