As the facility is there then people are going to use it.
Some people do actually excuse themselves & ask if it is ok to put their seat back (happened on my last flights)....some of course do not & recline fully.

I don't recline but won't stop others that do, even though it does restrict movement & space on my side

I actually find someone continually kicking the back of my chair the most annoying.

Depending on the person's agility some have to use the back of the chair to get out & consequently pull hair on the way..also annoying

It's all part and parcel of flying in a cramped space in economy along with the stinking wet miniscule toilet closets, wobbly tables, people that talk at the top of their lungs, strange smells, getting hit with the trolleys, hosties spilling food & drinks on you, screaming kids, aisle blockers, aisle wanderers & people next to you who want to become your next best friend & never shut up.

Yep about 3.5 hrs is my maximum on a plane...
