am questioning your thinking thats all. In the weeks before I was diagnosed I was HIGHLY contagious. One cough is apparently all it takes to spread whooping cough.
Just say, I was in a local supermarket that we happen to share. I coughed (which I did constantly, I couldn't make a sentance without coughing). I touched something, you then come along and touch it, or your child does. That's literally all it takes... Once I was aware I had it , I quarantined myself, but just how many other people do you think I passed it to? I know of several.
I do not for one moment think that vaccination is TOTALLY safe. Nothing in life is. nothing. I'm just of the opinion, particularly now, that the alternative could well cost you more than you imagine.
Any baby who got as sick as I did, would have died.
