Serangan Island is a fishing town and a mooring spot for Indo fishers and overseas yachties. The road you mentioned is a beautiful 4 lane route that takes you to a local village. Must have cost a fortune to build and for what reason.?? Serangan is a hot dusty and dry spot. Nothing there to justify such a magnificent road. Then i found out that one of the Suharto family was trying to develop the island a lot of surrounding mangroves were reclaimed high rise hotels casinos were on the drawing board then the plan went down the toilet all that is left is a magnicent road so stay away you never know the big plan might come back one day and you will be turfed out quick smart Also foreigners cannot own property in Bali
