You said you are staying in Sunur beach resort so not sure if you mean that you are there now or will be staying there.
If you are there now and he wants to buy it there then you can look at the camera shop at Carrefour shopping mall, or the one in Discovery shopping mall. There is also a place on Legian street with a JVC sign out front that sell all sorts of cameras.
Sorry can't help you with anywhere around Sanur.
As has been said, they are not any cheaper and warranty maybe a problem back in Aus.
We bought a camera over there after having left ours in a Taxi at the start of our trip and not wishing to miss a photo opportunity and thankfully have not had any problems with it.
