We stayed at the Alam Shanti last June and were very pleased. Its a bit out of Ubud but there is a free shuttle also its not really far to walk. We used the shuttle to go down and walked back along the side of the monkey forest. Enjoyed having breakfast and afternoon tea on our own patio. We stayed in the Shindu Room . See their website
